Type O Negative
Il quartetto heavy metal Type O Negative appare verso la fine degli anni ’90 a New York ed è costituito da Peter Steele, vocalist e autore dei testi, Ken Hockey alla chitarra, Josh Silver alle tastiere e Johnny Kelly alla batteria. La band esordisce nel 1991 con l’LP “Slow, Deep and Hard”, disco tenebroso rafforzato da chitarre stridenti e uno humour tetro e cupo. Nel 1993 esce l’album “Bloody Kisses”, che presenta una direzione più melodica. La band continua ad incidere LP regolarmente per tutto il decennio. Nel 2000 esce la compilation “The Least Worst of Type O Negative”.
