Industrial music pioneers who started out in the mid '70s with a powerful combination of grinding rhythms and samples. The group, led by Genesis P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson, formed their own label called Industrial. The group split up in 1981 with members going on to Psychic TV, Chris and Cosey and Coil.
