Ruff Ryders
Il collettivo hip-hop Ruff Ryders, che è anche una label ed un agenzia di management, è stato fondato a new York nel 1988 da Chivon, Dee, e Waah Dean. Si erano già fatti notare come manager del rapper DMX. Nel 1999 il collettivo ha pubblicato l'album “Ryde Or Die Volume 1”, che ospitava artisti come Big Pun, Jermaine Dupri e Jay-Z. Altre compilation della serie "Ryde Or Die" sono seguite tra il 2000 ed il 2003, l'ultimo dei quali ha celebrato l'ascesa del Southern Rap, e infatti il titolo è stato modificato in “In the ‘R’ We Trust”.
