Orange Juice
Scottish band Orange Juice formed in Glasgow in 1976 as the Nu-Sonics. The quartet renamed itself Orange Juice in 1979.
Only one single from Orange Juice managed to chart in the U.K. -- "Rip It Up" reached the Top-10 in 1982.
In 1995, former Orange Juice frontman Edwyn Collins finally hit the top of the charts with the single "A Girl Like You."
Now seen as foppish forebears of indie rock renaissance led by Franz Ferdinand.
