Men Without Hats
Il gruppo new wave synth pop Men Without Hats, formato a Montreal nel 1980 dai fratelli Ivan e Stefan Doroschuk, è conosciuto per l'hit single "The Safety Dance" (1983). Ivan (lead vocals) e Stefan (chitarra) scrissero gran parte delle canzoni, mentre gli altri membri cambiarono di frequente. Incisero senza contratto il primo EP "Folk of the 80’s" (1980); il primo album fu "Rhythm of Youth" nel 1982. Nel 1987 si riaffacciarono con minor successo con "Pop Goes the World", ma l'album "Sideways" del 1991 non entrò neanche nelle charts e ciò determinò la fine della carriera dei Men Without Hats.
