La cantante R&B Kelly Price trascorse i suoi primi anni nell'industria musicale dietro le quinte, facendo da corista per star comprese Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Faith Evans e Brian McKnight; inoltre, era la voce in she was the featured voice on the Notorious B.I.G.s “Mo Money, Mo Problems” di Notorious B.I.G. e “Feels So Good” di Mase. Nel 1997 Price apparve anche nell'hit di Puff Daddy: “No Way out” e si esibì anche nel successivo tour di Puff.
