James Taylor
Il musicista inglese James Taylor ha iniziato la carriera musicale negli anni 80 come tastierista del gruppo mod-revival The Prisoners. Ha scritto la storia della musica lasciando la band a metà degli anni 80 per formare il James Taylor Quartet, il gruppo che ha definito (e coniato il termine) acid jazz. Il loro primo album del 1988, “Wait A Minute”, è diventato un must fondamentale. Altri dischi dei James Taylor Quartet sono “”Do You Own Thing” (1990), “In the Hand of the Inevitable” (1995) e “Message from the Godfather” (2001).
