The group breaks no new ground on their 8th release, although they do seem to have perfected their slightly gritty, modernized take on Classic Rock. Less ballad-driven than their previous hit albums, this one takes a more somber, rocking tone and is all the better for it. Tracks like "Big Machine" and "Here Is Gone" are highlights.
