With two months to go before Lollapalooza descends on Chicago’s Grant Park, the festival has announced the three-day schedule for August 1-3. Radiohead will headline Friday, or Day 1, of the fest, but after that, decision-making about what stage to go and when becomes difficult, as many top caliber bands perform in the same time slots. Among the scheduling predicaments you might face: Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks vs. the Raconteurs on Day 1 and the Royal Rumble scheduled for 6:15pm on Day 3 between Gnarls Barkley, Girl Talk and Love & Rockets. But the most difficult decision you’ll have to make is which Day 2 and 3 headliners to see, as Day 2 has Wilco facing off against Rage Against the Machine and Day 3 schedules an 8:30pm head to head between Nine Inch Nails and Kanye West. While that sucks, thankfully the Lollapalooza website is allowing you to create a custom schedule to help you navigate through the seven corporate-sponsored stages.
