Girlschool
One of the first all-female metal bands, Girlschool had multiple hit
singles in the UK in the early '80s.
Often collaborating with Motorhead, Girlschool were a big part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement.
Formed in London in 1978, the group was originally called Painted Lady.
