Fat Joe’s “Make It Rain” has gone platinum … as a ringtone. That means there are one million people in this country eager to ruin your Live Free or Die Hard experience with the tinny sounds of Fat Joe. Kiss are planning the second volume of their popular Kissology DVD anthology. The three-disc set will find the band amidst line-up changes and, unfortunately, without make-up. Listen to the songs Bright Eyes, M. Ward and Feist contributed to the soundtrack for The Hottest State, a film written and directed by Ethan Hawke, based on a novel by Ethan Hawke. Not to be outdone, the soundtrack for popular football video game Madden ‘08 will feature tracks from Timbaland/Timberlake, Queens of the Stone Age and The Bravery, plus unreleased songs from The Hives and Atreyu. Wes Anderson is bringing his penchant for humorous outfits, early Rolling Stones tracks and Wilson brothers to the New York Film Festival when his latest movie, The Darjeeling Limited, opens up the fest on September 28.
